Treadmill Saver Works its Magic

The award-winning Treadmill Saver™, launched by The Green Fitness Equipment Co. in February 2013, is an eco-smart preventive maintenance solution for fitness equipment. It can help keep your treadmill working at peak performance and lengthens the lifespan of your machine – and clients are very pleased with the results. According to Fitness & Sports director Ken Hack, Treadmill Saver has already helped several military installations including Fort Sam in Houston, Texas. With Treadmill Saver, Fort Sam cut its electricity costs for treadmill operations by 50% and has completely eliminated breakdown problems.

Treadmill Saver works in a similar way to a traffic light, using a lighted warning system that alerts users if repairs or maintenance is necessary, based on the amperage draw of the treadmill drive motor. When the light shines green, the amperage draw is below the factory-set 8 amps yellow set point, and you know everything is in order. When it shines yellow you know the amperage draw is between 8 amps and the 10 amps red set point, and that it needs checking. And when the light is red (above 10 amps), you know for sure that repairs of some sort are required. Essentially, as soon as the machine begins drawing too many amps, you know that cleaning or servicing is needed to prevent any form of permanent damage. By acting on this information you will keep all treadmills operating at their peak performance.

The Treadmill Saver helps reduce costs associated with excessive energy use, expensive breakdowns, service calls, equipment failure, parts wearing out prematurely, early replacement of the treadmill and helps ensure you get the maximum return on your investment.

The patented Treadmill Saver device can be used with any type of treadmill, irrespective of make, model or the voltage it uses. It can also be used with all types of current worldwide. There are two models, one for commercial use and the other for residential use; the only difference between them is the power cord that is supplied for easy convenience.
