Working Out On An Empty Stomach

Think you burn more fat exercising on an empty stomach? Not so. Your body burns roughly the same amount of fat regardless of caloric intake beforehand. For best results, eat a small amount of rapidly digestible carbohydrates (such as a banana or slice of bread) about 30 minutes before your workout. You'll get the fuel you need, without feeling too full or too sluggish.
